Secondly, create a budget; it will help you select where you need to save and what you will spend.
Thirdly eliminate your debt. Start off a payoff all your student loan and credit card bills as quickly as possible.
Fourthly save money for your retirement. No matter what is your age but you should be putting some money for your retirement.
And lastly have money so that you can handle the emergency. You will never known when something will happen and for this you need to put aside some cash to cover it. It really does not matter how much money you make, just take control of your finances regardless of your situation.
These little stuffs will add up to give you big results.
